About Your Instructor
Neelam Bandali
Being a mother of two busy boys, I decided to open a Kumon center because I realized how children can benefit from this program. Kumon does not only give children confidence academically, it teaches them study skills like focus, discipline, and most importantly confidence in self-learning.
Professionally, I am an Accountant, but I have always said that if I was not an Accountant I would have been a teacher. I have always felt that teaching is a very challenging but rewarding profession. I know this to be true since my husband is an instructor at NAIT, and I always love hearing about his students and their accomplishments. I can tell by the tone in his voice how satisfied he feels as he is making a difference in his students lives. Opening my own Kumon center will allow me to fulfil my dream of working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
We always hear about the importance of self-learning as a skill that is not only important in school but life in general. I believe each child has the potential to be an independent learner, and if nurtured and given proper attention, they can reach their maximum potential! I am constantly learning new things each and every day from my children and I look forward to working with many more children such that we will all learn and grow together.
