Nikita Ganatra, M.Ed.
Owner & Center Director, Kumon Math and Reading Center of Foothill Ranch
Nikita Ganatra is an accomplished educator, entrepreneur, and community leader who has owned and directed Kumon Math and Reading Center of Foothill Ranch since 2013. Over the past 12 years, she has supported more than 1,300 student subjects across Saddleback Valley Unified, Irvine Unified, and Capistrano Unified school districts, with an individualized approach that meets each student at a "just right" level to build confidence and master foundational skills. Parents consistently praise the center's nurturing environment and differentiation in instruction through lesson planning to fit each student's needs.
Nikita holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education, Multiple and Single Subject Teaching Credentials, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Earlier in her career, she taught 7th and 8th grade — including GATE students — at Dexter Middle School, where she was recognized as a Model Classroom Teacher, and later worked with at-risk youth and English learners in alternative K-12 settings.
Nikita's commitment to education extends well beyond her center. She currently serves as Fund Development Chair for the Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children (OCAEYC) and is affiliated with the Saharo Foundation, supporting early childhood education initiatives across the county. Moreover, she is an active member of Soroptimist International of Saddleback Valley, where she has served as Public Awareness Chair supporting the organization's mission of economic empowerment for women and girls.
Nikita is a vocal advocate for public school transparency and accountability, regularly engaging with local school district boards on issues of fiscal responsibility and curriculum quality — work that reflects her deep, ongoing investment in the educational outcomes of children across Orange County.
Her community contributions have been widely recognized: she was named a 2023 Woman of Distinction by the City of Lake Forest and County of Orange, and selected as one of Senator Steven Choi's 2025 Women of Distinction award recipients.
Nikita Ganatra's career reflects a sustained commitment to academic excellence, community service, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to build confidence through mastery — one step at a time.
