About the Center

Welcome to Kumon Center of Grand Rapids - North! 

For over 60 years, our Kumon after-school academic enrichment program has been helping children achieve success across the globe. Our Center is no exception. We work to encourage our students to strive for success by motivating each of them to perform at their highest potential. By cultivating a love for learning, students gain the confidence to become independent within and outside the classroom.

Kumon of Grand Rapids - North is located at 1971 East Beltline Avenue NE Suite 120, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.

Among tutoring and other after-school programs, Kumon is one of the more affordable programs. 

Our monthly tuition is $150.00 per subject with a one-time registration fee of $80.00 and a materials fee of $25.00. This covers class-time twice a week, our full curriculum, as well as the Kumon bag and homework supplies.

Tuition Policy

Your registration fee will remain active up to one month in case of absence. If your absence extends this limit, we require you to re-register your child as a new student. 

We require a written notice at least one calendar month before stopping/suspending payment. All tuition is non-refundable regardless of attendance throughout the month, so we encourage you to keep us up-to-date on any extended absences/vacations you and your family may be planning to take. This way, we can better prepare/adjust your child's work according to your family's personal schedule. Of course, if your child is ill, we are more than happy to accommodate your needs and will work with you to make your child's transition back to Kumon a smooth one.
