Hi, I’m Sapna Patel, the owner and instructor of the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Gilbert – Williams Field & Gilbert Rd. I’ve been a Kumon Instructor for ten years and bring over 17 years of experience in education.

I hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from New Mexico State University and a Master's in Educational Psychology – Gifted and Creative Education – from the University of Georgia. I’m certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in Arizona, with endorsements in Gifted Education and Structured English Immersion.

Before Kumon, I taught K–3 in CUSD and received extensive training in Common Core instruction, DIBELS, and the Spalding Method. As a parent of two children in local schools, I understand the academic expectations families face in the Gilbert and Chandler areas.

My experience as both a teacher and parent allows me to support Kumon students and their families with empathy, insight, and a deep commitment to their success. I’m passionate about helping children grow into confident, independent learners through the Kumon Program!
