About Your Instructor

MARIA SILVIA COSTA

After graduating with a BA in Economics from a top Brazilian university, I worked in the Banking Industry for 5 years. I then relocated to the US in 1999, where I studied at the University of Chicago and later completed my MBA at the University of Miami in Finance and Marketing.

At the completion of my master's degree, I joined a top 500 Fortune company and worked in Finance and Business Development in Miami and London. During the 10 years I worked in Corporate America and lived in the US and Europe, my 3 kids were born. As they are developing and growing into smart and curious individuals, I developed a strong sense of responsibility for their education and future.

Now that I am running a Kumon Center, I'm very passionate to see my kids and students become confident self-learners, and I'm excited to work with each family to help the students succeed.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
