About Your Instructor
Tiffany Fung
I have been involved with Kumon for over 25 years. I was a former Kumon Student for 3 years, and my mother is a Kumon Instructor for over 20 years. I worked in Kumon as an assistant during high school and college. Now as a fully licensed Kumon Instructor, I provide simple and effective personalized instruction for each student. My goal is for every student to learn in the most efficient way possible. Through constant attention and supervision, I aid in developing the best study habits, efficient problem solving methods, and mastery over mathematical and reading comprehension concepts. I believe in working together with parents and students to maximize the benefits of the Kumon Program for everyone.
My experience in the Kumon Program has led me to achieve great academic success. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Masters of Accounting from USC. I am a certified public accountant (CPA) for over 10 years. I am also a licensed real estate agent in California. In addition to my educational background, I am a professional ballroom dancer and have traveled all over the world to compete in international competitions. I have achieved United States Professional Rising Star Vice-Champion and United States Pro-Am Standard Champion. I am a certified dance instructor and judge from the Imperial Ballroom Society of Teachers and Dancers (ISTD). I also train and coach amateur dancers at the national level. I have been ballroom dancing for over 30 years, as it is truly my passion!
