About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center of Morganville. We are located in Willow Point Plaza next to Nonna's restaurant on Route 9.

For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.

Price and Fees

Please call or schedule a free orientation for information on pricing. We are significantly less expensive than private tutors and "quick fix" types of tutoring programs in Monmouth County.

Tuition includes:

  • Individualized lesson plan(s) for your child.
  • Two 30-60 minute class sessions per week.
  • Continual worksheet study.
  • Kumon+, a student based loyalty program.

Policies

Class time is strictly reserved for students and instruction. If you need to speak with the Instructor, please reach out via email or call the center during non class hours.

Students must arrive at their scheduled appointment time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, the student(s) will be asked to complete their work at home. We must adhere to our schedule in order to service all the attending families.

If your child will be absent from class, please contact the center in advance to make arrangements to retrieve the missed work. Kumon of Morganville is closed for inclement weather and township emergencies if the Marlboro Public Schools are closed. Please continuously check the website for any announcements.

If you are choosing to discontinue your child's Kumon study, you must notify the Instructor in writing before the 15th of the month prior to the desired discontinuance to avoid any reoccurring charges.

Kumon of Morganville accepts EFT.

All payments are due on the 1st of the month.
