About Your Instructor
Almas Jasani
Almas, a proud graduate of Bombay University, brings an incredible passion for education and a heartfelt commitment to nurturing young minds. With over 20 years of experience as an early childhood teacher and trainer, her journey has been fueled by a deep belief in the potential of every child. Witnessing the remarkable growth of her own children through the Kumon Method inspired her to take a bold and exciting step—opening her very own Kumon Center.
Now, after being in business for just a year, Almas has already seen inspiring transformations in her students. Children are not only making significant academic progress, but they’re walking into the center with bright smiles and leaving with a sense of pride and accomplishment. From 3 and 4-year-olds beginning to read within just two months, to 5th graders who once struggled with number sequencing now confidently completing addition and subtraction within standard timeframes—every success story reaffirms her belief in Kumon's life-changing impact.
Her own children are shining examples of Kumon’s long-term benefits—her son graduated from UT Austin’s prestigious Cockrell School of Engineering, and her daughter is now graduating from Rice University and heading to UT Law this fall. Their journeys continue to inspire Almas and fuel her passion for helping other students realize their full potential.
As an empty nester, Almas has fully embraced her new mission: to empower the next generation of learners. With unwavering dedication and contagious enthusiasm, she’s committed to creating a supportive, encouraging space where every child can thrive in math and reading—and beyond.
