Roopa Palakkat
Roopa opened Kumon of Odessa in 2018 after seeing the positive impact the Kumon Method had on her own children. Watching them gain confidence, independence, and stronger math and reading skills inspired her to help families throughout Odessa, Trinity, New Port Richey, Land O' Lakes, and surrounding communities experience those same benefits.
Roopa believes every child has the potential to succeed.
She partners closely with parents to create a consistent, encouraging learning environment where students build confidence, strong academic skills, and the independence to become lifelong learners.
Unlike traditional tutoring, Kumon is a personalized learning program that develops lasting academic foundations rather than simply helping with homework. Through individualized instruction and daily practice, students strengthen math, reading, concentration, study skills, perseverance, and self-learning ability, allowing them to progress at their own pace.
