About Your Instructor
Ali Karimi
We own Kumon Orange – North and Kumon Orange – South, which allows us to offer families greater flexibility in scheduling. At the South center, students may attend classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and when combined with the North center schedule, we are able to offer a total of five different class days. This gives students who are ready the option to attend at either center based on availability and individual needs.
Our centers are family-run and led by certified instructors. Ali is the official instructor at Kumon Orange – North, and Soheila (Sally) is the official instructor at Kumon Orange – South. We are proud to be one of the very few Kumon centers in the United States with two certified instructors actively working across both centers. In most classes, both of us are present, combining our strengths and experience to provide consistent guidance and individualized support for our students.
Before opening the Kumon Math and Reading Centers of Orange, Ali earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tehran. Soheila (Sally) has taught high school mathematics for more than ten years and brings extensive experience with both traditional school curriculum and the Kumon Method. Together, we genuinely enjoy supporting students as they grow and develop, and we believe that unlocking a child’s potential is one of the most meaningful aspects of education.
Our introduction to Kumon began as parents when we enrolled our sons in the program and experienced its benefits firsthand. Our oldest son attended UCLA and is now in medical school. Our second son has successfully completed both the Kumon Math and Reading programs and is preparing for university with plans to major in business, while also teaching students using the Kumon Method at our centers. Our youngest son has completed the Kumon Reading Program, is currently in middle school, and continues to excel academically, performing three years above grade level in math.
Education has always been our passion, and we feel truly privileged to work with the wonderful parents and children in our community. Our goal is to help students become confident, independent, and lifelong learners. We look forward to introducing the Kumon Method to your family and supporting your child on their path to success.
