About Your Instructor
Mahalaxmi Silwal
I hold a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism, with a strong background in journalism and reporting. Currently, I work across various multimedia platforms as a YouTube host, freelance videographer, photographer, and editor. Additionally, I am a certified 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over a decade of teaching experience, and I practice singing bowl therapy.
I am also deeply involved in social service, volunteering as a yoga instructor and conducting interviews on YouTube. My skills extend to contributing to short English films, further diversifying my experience, and I also volunteer as a motivational speaker.
The opportunity to work at Kumon perfectly aligns with my passion for education and personal growth. I admire the Kumon method for its individualized approach to learning, and I am excited to contribute to the company’s growth while positively shaping students' lives. Kumon’s commitment to continuous learning resonates with my personal and professional goals, and I look forward to growing alongside the company.
I share Kumon’s vision of becoming a premier after-school education provider in the Lake Nona community. Over the next three years, I am committed to contributing to the success of the learning center and helping it stand out as a successful new Kumon franchise.
