About Your Instructor
ANN RANKIN
I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with both a Bachelor of Education as well as a Professional Diploma. I taught in the Charlotte County Public School system for 14 years prior to becoming a certified Kumon instructor, and I opened the center in July 2004. My most rewarding experience in education has always been having a front row seat to witness the growth and development of all learners. I know that by tapping into their natural curiosity and love of exploring, all children can reach their full potential and broaden all aspects of their future especially when they have a solid foundation of skills.
I will create an individualized lesson plan designed specifically for your child, and I shall strive to monitor the "just right level" of work while your child studies. Many students can rapidly build an increased level of self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.
I look forward to meeting with you and would love to welcome you into our Port Charlotte center as we embark on the exciting journey to help your child unlock their full potential!
