About Your Instructor
Ruchi Vyas
My name is Ruchi and I have a degree in chemistry, and I am certified to teach science in schools here in NJ. I have always liked the field of education and love working with children. My passion for teaching started when my girls were in school. I always volunteered at the PTA and helped with the class projects. My kids were enrolled in Kumon since they were 5 years old. I saw the benefit of Kumon and was very happy to see that my daughters excelled in school.
When I got an opportunity to join Kumon North America as a center director to set up and run a company owned center, I was thrilled. I learned a lot about the business and the education model of being a Kumon instructor. I ran two centers in 8 years when I was an employee at Kumon North America and then served as Field consultant to support the Princeton branch centers for about a year. During my time in KNA, I worked with thousands of students and was part of various projects and training programs. I was responsible to train and help the franchisees set up and establish their centers. I also presented in various conferences and seminars across the country regarding the methodology and philosophy of Kumon.
In May 2019, I got the great opportunity to own my business and buy my own center and I was extremely excited. I loved working with students and what could be more exciting than having my own center! Since then I have been diligently involved with my center, my students and my families and staff. We all are a big family and together we are making a difference in nurturing and helping children reach their highest potential.
