About Your Instructor
Himanshu Patil
Himanshu holds a Master of Science degree from Texas Tech University and brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role as a Kumon Instructor. Before transitioning to education, he built a successful career in healthcare, working in various roles, including management. His experience in leadership and problem-solving has helped him develop a structured and result-driven approach to student learning.
As a parent of two school-aged children attending Plano ISD—one enrolled in the PACE (talented &gifted) program and another taking honors classes—he understands the importance of a strong academic foundation. Both his children are Kumon students, reinforcing his belief in the program's effectiveness inbuilding independence and lifelong learning skills.
With a strong belief in the power of self-learning and perseverance, Himanshu is committed to helping students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve academic success. Through the Kumon Method, he strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every child can reach their full potential.
During his free time, Himanshu loves traveling and exploring new places. He is also an avid hiker who enjoys being in nature, finding inspiration and relaxation in the great outdoors.
