About Me
As a highly trained and certified Kumon Instructor, I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential in two of the most important lifelong skills: math and reading. I serve as the primary lesson planning and class instructor, guiding students through their learning while providing the encouragement and support they need to build confidence.
I am committed to creating personalized Kumon study plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals. By working closely with parents, I help students meet and exceed grade-level expectations while fostering strong study habits and a love of learning. At the heart of the Kumon Method is the belief that every child can develop the self-confidence and skills needed to succeed throughout their educational journey and beyond.
Background
While earning my degrees in Education, I gained valuable experience working in a variety of childcare and educational settings, where I learned effective approaches to teaching, nurturing, and supporting young learners. Prior to becoming a Kumon Instructor, I worked as a teacher assistant in Bloomfield Hills, taught second grade in Pontiac, and worked in a preschool setting in Birmingham.
Helping children succeed has always been my passion. I am dedicated to empowering students with the skills, confidence, and motivation they need to achieve their goals and discover their full potential.
