Everet Tom
Everet graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, concentrating in International Relations. During his time at Berkeley, he was actively involved in student peer-mentorship programs and student government, experiences that shaped his belief in the importance of guidance, structure, and encouragement for young learners. After returning to his hometown of San Francisco, Everet worked as a legal assistant at a prestigious Union Square law firm while studying for and earning his Real Estate Salesperson license. He later became an affiliate of the JODI Group Brokerage, where he developed strong communication skills and a client-first approach rooted in trust and responsibility.
While working professionally, Everet discovered that his true passion lay in working with children and supporting their academic confidence and independence. He joined Kumon of San Francisco – Ocean, where he saw firsthand the positive impact of consistent practice and individualized learning. Motivated by his love for helping children succeed, Everet opened his own Kumon center in the Outer Richmond district, where he is dedicated to partnering with families to help each child reach their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
