About Your Instructor

NEELAM CHAUDHRI

I started my academic career as a clinical lab scientist and served the VA medical center until I retired. My sister, who ran a Kumon Center in upstate New York, inspired me to follow my second passion of educating children. I opened the Kumon of Tierrasanta in February of 2006 and became a fully licensed Kumon Instructor in March 2011. Since then, I have helped more than a thousand students in my community reach their academic potential. As the Center Instructor, it is my responsibility to recognize the various learning styles and abilities of my students and individualize their lesson plans accordingly, thus helping them reach their academic goals through the Kumon curriculum. Not only do we help students who are struggling with Math and Reading but our curriculum also caters to students who are advanced and looking to stay ahead of their peers.
