About Your Instructor

GITA KANUMURU

I have been a Kumon Instructor for over 20 years and through those years have helped thousands of children gain the confidence they need to achieve their goals. In working with all these students over the years, I have been amazed time and again at how, with a little attention and guidance from the teachers, the children really thrive. They have an innate ability to want to do their best and by tapping into that ability and meeting them at their level, we can guide them to strive for their best. My passion has always been working with children and Kumon offers the opportunity to use my ability to bring out the potential in every student that comes to this center. Serving this community and the wonderful families here brings me enormous joy.

I am married with two grown children and enjoy reading, yoga and going on long walks.
