About Your Instructor

Cortha Pringle

I am Dr. Cortha Pringle, Owner and Lead Instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Virginia Beach - Red Mill. Originally from South Georgia, I moved to Hampton Roads with my husband who is now a retired Naval officer. I hold a BS and MS from Florida State University and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, focusing on Organizational Management and Leadership Development for elementary and middle school students.
I am deeply involved in the Hampton Roads community, actively contributing to various local associations. Since opening my Kumon Center in 2019, I’ve seen firsthand how it empowers students to unlock their potential. As a former Kumon parent, I believe in its value and am committed to helping students embrace self-learning to reach their fullest potential.
