Welcome to Kumon Math and Reading Center of Walnut Creek North!
We are located at the Encina Shopping Center on the corner of Ygnacio Valley Rd and Oak Grove Rd.

The first step in your child's Kumon journey is to schedule an orientation and assessment test! Click the pink SCHEDULE TODAY or BOOK APPOINTMENT button to get started. Please read below regarding assessment test appointments:

• Your child is required to attend the appointment to take the assessment test. 
• Your child's assessment test must be performed at the center you wish to attend (i.e. an assessment done at one location is not transferable to another location).
• We are open four days a week for classes, which means we have less time for assessment tests. This means our appointments sometimes fill up very quickly. To be added to our waiting list, you must make an appointment on a later available date. When there are cancellations, you will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis from the waiting list.
• If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible.

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

• Master math and reading, often helping them earn their best grades ever
• Build study skills such as confidence, focus and work ethic
• Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
