Dear Kumon West Hollywood Families,
Some time has passed since I last communicated with all of our enrolled and interested families and I wanted to reach out and give an update about your learning center. First and foremost, I hope that you and your loved ones are all healthy and well as we continue to navigate a changed world.
Thank you very much for reaching out to us over the past few months, for your words of kindness during a very stressful time as we worked very hard to allow Kumon to remain a positive part of our students' daily routine, for continuing to express an interest in Kumon and our learning center programs even if you are waiting for in-center learning to continue, and for remaining invested in the learning center's long term success despite the economic obstacles related to Covid-19. Without you we wouldn't be here.
Kumon West Hollywood remains open for remote learning only. With the ever shifting nature of the pandemic, it has been very difficult for me to gauge an appropriate date for any kind of in-center re-opening. When the time comes, we will likely have a hybrid operation with limited class visits, cleanliness routines, and social distancing measures in place while maintaining Zoom remote learning. With the latest facts and news surrounding Covid-19, we believe that it is too early to resume in-center learning and we are erring on the side of caution for the health and safety of the community. Should the situation change and we are able to hold In-center classes again, we will reach out first to those families who have let us know that they would like to begin right away. I very much look forward to the day when the learning center is out of the shadow of Covid-19 and back in the sunshine of normal operations.
