About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to the Kumon Math and Reading Center of West Windsor! Our Kumon Center has been open since 1999. With over 20 years of experience, it is our mission to help your child make rapid academic progress.

Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning. The Kumon Program is a home-based education system that aims to develop students' academic ability and independence. Kumon materials incorporate methods for introducing new content in a way that enables students to learn without directly being taught even after advancing beyond school grade level. The math program starts with number recognition and counting and advances to calculus and statistics. The reading program beginnings with letter recognition and sound blending and continues to teach spelling, grammar, and story analysis.

Students will advance through the program at their own pace. 75 percent of Kumon of West Windsor students are doing work above their current school level. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant.

Please check our Facebook page, for more information on our center, to see the success stories of our students, and to learn about our various center assistants.
