About Your Instructor

DAVID SAMUEL

My professional career has been dedicated to education. I received my B.A. degree from UCLA and then worked as a state credentialed Math and English teacher in both private and public schools for ten years. To expand upon my expertise, I pursued a master's degree in Special Education from CSUN (California State University at Northridge), graduating with a 3.95 GPA. Advanced coursework in state academic curriculum, including best practices in instructional methods and data driven instructional decisions, have strengthened my qualifications as an educational professional.

I have witnessed the effectiveness of Kumon's unique methodology over the years, not only with hundreds of students attending Kumon of Westchester, but also with my own daughter.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
