Hi, I’m Weiwei! I’m part teacher, part coach, and part cheerleader, and I’m deeply passionate about helping every child unlock their potential. At Kumon of Whitestone, we don’t just teach — we transform the way kids think, practice, and believe in themselves.
My approach blends evidence-based literacy and math instruction with a growth-mindset philosophy that empowers students to enjoy learning. As a REED Certified Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator and member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, I bring both the science of learning and the art of motivation into every session.
Before Kumon of Whitestone, I earned three master’s degrees from Columbia University and worked with students from some of the most rigorous schools in the nation — including Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Exeter, Choate Rosemary Hall, and Horace Mann School in New York City. With over a decade of experience in education, I’ve seen firsthand how the right guidance, consistent practice, and joyful environment can transform not just grades — but lives.
