About Your Instructor

Aqueela Ahmed

Aqueela Ahmed has a passion for instilling the love of learning in children. Like all Kumon Instructors, Aqueela is skilled at developing individualized lesson plans for children ranging in age from 3 years old to high school level, including assessing and analyzing student ability based on the Kumon Assessments, developing individual instruction plans based on the Kumon Curriculum, and providing guidance that encourages students to work ahead of their school grade level. Aqueela leads a team of extensively trained staff, who specialize in the delivery of the Kumon Method.  The Team at Kumon of Alpharetta-Milton has a combined 20 years of experience in successfully developing Kumon students.

Aqueela’s vision is to establish Kumon as the leading after-school learning destination for all children in the area. Through Kumon Method of learning, she wants to inspire discipline, confidence, and self-learning in children to prepare them for excellence in life and school. She envisions to build numerous success stories, where parents witness transformation in their children’s Reading and Math skills and that children are encouraged to pursue a program that motivates them to perform and keep moving ahead.

Running a value-based Kumon center is the key priority. Aqueela intends to run the Kumon of Alpharetta-Milton Center on 3 key principles:

Deliver high quality education through the Kumon Method: Every child has hidden potential and that potential has to be nurtured. Every child should receive individualized learning plan and continuous progress monitoring with steady focus on mastery of concepts.

Honesty: Kumon of Alpharetta-Milton will run with high level of integrity. Honest feedback from parents is always expected, and parents can also trust to receive honest feedback on their child’s performance in return. Concerned parents should also expect to receive prompt actionable response from the staff.

Take Care of People: At Kumon of Alpharetta-Milton, we operate as a family. In times of need, we will stand with our staff, students and community.

“Kumon has helped me to better handle making mistakes. Before I started Kumon, I had a breakdown every time I made a mistake but because Kumon is so challenging, I have learned that it's okay to make mistakes because you can learn from them.”

“Kumon has taught me to persevere. There are times when the assignments are hard, but I am determined to work through the challenging assignments. Getting independent practice on my assignments is a great way to prepare me for times in life when I may have to work alone.”
