Center Guidelines:
Parents must be waiting or available to pick their child up immediately upon the completion of his/her assignment. Students will not be allowed to leave the Center without a parent/guardian. Kumon of Alpharetta - Milton is not responsible for the supervision of any child once his/her class work is completed.
Center Behavior & Etiquette:
Class days are reserved for instruction and communication. While we value our parents, we kindly ask that you do not enter the classroom during Center hours. To promote an environment conducive to study, conversation and noise in the waiting room should be quiet and kept to a minimum. Food & drinks should never be brought into the Center. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
Center Calendar:
Kumon is a year-round program of study. Although we observe several national holidays where the center will be closed, homework will be assigned in place of classwork in order for your child’s development to stay on track. Specific dates of Center closings will be posted on Facebook Page, Center web page, and in the parent waiting area and/or sent via email. Kumon worksheets are generally assigned 365 days per year. In the case of inclement weather, we will follow the Forsyth and/or Fulton County Schools’ policies.
Class Attendance:
Class attendance is a vital part of the Kumon program. Observing students during class and is essential in the planning process for each student. We also prefer to introduce new concepts in class so we may assist your child in reaching his/her Kumon goals. If a student is unable to attend class, we will put assignments in the outside box on the sidewalk next to the front door. If possible, please communicate two days prior to an absence, so we can plan accordingly, and your child can stay on track academically. There are no makeup classes or rebates for missed classes.
We ask that you let us know in advance if you need to make changes to your scheduled in center class time. Please give us a 48 hours’ notice to work with you to arrange an alternate scheduled time.
Communication:
Long-term success with the Kumon Method starts with frequent and open communication between Instructors, parents, and students. Important notices will be sent via email, posted on our Center web page, and posted in the parent waiting area.

Tuition is due by the 1st of each month, regardless of method of payment. An invoicing fee of $25 will be assessed after the 3rd of the month.
