About Your Instructor
RENUKA SUBRAMANIAN
Students who study at this location for two or more years, reach six months above grade level performance. We build sufficient strength in their academic subjects they no longer need tutoring. They have well rounded academic skills and work skills to stay ahead through high school. My name is Renuka Subramanian and I am your child's future Kumon Instructor.
I have an MS in CIS from University of Michigan, Dearborn. I enrolled my daughter in Kumon while looking to challenge and grow her interest in Math back in 1996. Thus began my Kumon journey began in the City of Westland until I retired in December 2022 at this location. I became the Kumon instructor to both my son and daughter from early 2000 when I became the Kumon Franchisee. Completing the Math and Reading programs had opened many possibilities in high school and college for both my daughter and son. Early program completion freed up a lot of homework time during high school and enabled them to take AP classes and participate in sports and co-curricular activities after school. Icing on the cake, they both were National Merit Finalists. Not just them, every student who completed the Math and / or Reading program with me saw similar ease in high school.
I opened the doors to accept and guide students in this South East Ann Arbor location, through the Kumon Method on September 5th, 2011. My team consists of high achieving high school, college and or my own former program completers.
