Introduction

Welcome to Kumon Math and Reading Center of Bentonville!



Our center has been an integral part of the Bentonville community since 2009. We are conveniently located on N Walton Blvd and 3rd St minutes away from downtown. We work with children from pre-school through high school improve motor skills, study skills, confidence with mastery, and developing the ability to self-learn new concepts. We have worked with over 1000 students in the area and look forward to working with your child. Schedule an orientation with our team and we'd love to work with your child to see how we can unlock their full potential.

For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon Center of Bentonville is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

Teaching Assistant(Freshers Welcome)

  • Kumon of Bentonville is growing their team! We are seeking energetic and organized individuals who loves to workwith young students (Pre-k thru 1st grade).

    Job responsibilities include assisting youngstudents in the completion of their worksheets while also helping thosestudents utilize supplemental materials, stay on task and improve their focusand concentration, make corrections to 100% and follow the Kumon method todevelop the child to be an independent learner. The Teaching Assistant isresponsible for assisting the Kumon Instructor in the overall running of thecenter (with student instruction, provide feedback of students, keep the centerorganized etc). The environment is fast-paced and a strong work ethic withadherence to excellence in details is required.


    Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm

    Requirements:

    ·      Have Compassion and Patience to work with pre-schoolchildren

    ·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills withadults and children

    ·      Knowledge of Phonics is a plus.

    ·      Teaching experience is a plus, not required

    ·      Experience working with young children is a plus

    ·      Commitment to making a difference in the community andbelief that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence

    Job Responsibilities:

Grading Assistant (High School and Freshers welcome)

  • We are seeking enthusiastic ,energetic, self motivated and organized individuals to assist in grading worksheets, giving feedback to instructor on the students work .The environment is fast-paced and a strong work ethic with adherence to excellence in details is required.

    It is an excellent opportunity for COLLEGE STUDENTS & CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL students who are interested in working with children.

    We are looking for someone who is dependable, enthusiastic and self motivated. Must love working with children.

    Job Responsibilities include:

    -Grading math and reading work

    -Working with young children in helping solve the worksheets

    -Administrative duties such as Data entry

    Qualifications: Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable schedule. Should be able to multi-task. Must be able to work year-round.

    This is a part-time job. You must be able to commit to working at our center for a minimum of 12 months. Serious inquiries only.

    Working hours:

    You must be able to work Monday to Thursday 3:30-7:30 at the center. Can work either 2 or 4 days a week

    Schedule:

    • Mon to Thu 3:30 /4:00 to 7:30 PM
    • Monday to Thursday
