About Your Instructor
Kriya Patel
Hello! My name is Kriya, and I am excited to serve as the Instructor of the Kumon Math and Reading Center in Bowling Green.
My connection to Kumon is a personal one—my Kumon journey began as a student. Having experienced the Kumon Method firsthand, I saw how consistent practice, step-by-step progression, and independent learning can help a student develop both academically and personally. The skills and habits I developed through my own Kumon experience stayed with me long after I left the program.
Prior to becoming a Kumon Instructor, I worked in banking, where I gained valuable experience working with individuals and families and developed skills that I continue to carry with me today. When the opportunity arose to begin a new chapter, becoming a Kumon Instructor felt especially meaningful because it allowed me to return to a program that had already played an important role in my own life.
Becoming a Kumon Instructor has given me the opportunity to come full circle—from once being a student completing Kumon worksheets myself to now preparing to guide students through their own Kumon journeys.
As an Instructor, I look forward to getting to know each student individually and understanding their unique strengths, challenges, and goals. My goal is to create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment where students can strengthen their math and reading skills, develop confidence and strong study habits, and become increasingly independent learners.
I am grateful for the opportunity to bring my own Kumon experience to the Bowling Green community, and I look forward to partnering with parents as we help their children work toward reaching their full potential.
I can't wait to welcome you and your family to our center!
