About Your Instructor
Susan Montoya-Bagri
My name is Susan Montoya-Bagri and I am the Instructor at the Kumon Centre in Brampton Spring Valley. I look forward to meeting you and your children and developing an individual study plan for them. I have been a Kumon parent since 2008.
My educational and professional background are in IT(Information Technology) and Project Management. I have a degree in Computer Engineering and certificate in Project Management. I have three children, all of whom are Kumon students. My passion for education stems from my own experience as a mom, wanting my three children to become more confident and independent thinkers. After seeing my children develop a love of learning in Kumon and seen how effectively it builds their confidence, self-empowerment, independence and perseverance, I was inspired to bring the Kumon Method to children in Brampton-Spring Valley community.
As a Kumon Instructor, I receive ongoing training to help me instruct the children so they can truly benefit from the program. This ongoing professional development focuses on children's stages of growth, worksheet development and changes, centre management and other things that I need to know to run an effective Kumon Math and Reading Program.
