About Your Instructor

I have more than 28 years of experience in Kumon. During those years, I have met and observed many students, who came to start the Kumon Program for various reasons. Some of them struggled in math or reading, some came to improve their academic skills, the others wanted to get accepted into specialized schools or gifted programs, etc. Although all of the incoming students were different, each student improved not only math and reading skills, but also became more confident and successful in school.
I highly recommend Kumon to other families because Kumon is an effective way to help your child improve both math and reading skills and even advance above his/her school level. There are many other skills that will be developed or improved along with the academic ones, such as logical thinking, confidence, commitment, self-esteem, sense of responsibility, discipline, organizational skills, etc. I believe Kumon is a great program that can help anyone who works with its materials on a daily basis.
My goal as the Kumon Instructor is to teach my students to live active, enjoyable, and successful lives. I want them to get the best education. I teach them to use their gained skills and knowledge and apply them in practice in real life - both inside as well as outside their schools.
