About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center of Broken Arrow - North. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.

Price and Fees

Our tuition is $150 per month per subject. Our pricing is very reasonable to fulfil our mission of bringing the Kumon Method of Learning to as many students as possible.

We will conduct your child's initial placement test for free. There is also no charge for parents to learn the results of the test and receive valuable information regarding your child's math and reading placement. There is a one-time registration fee ($70) and a one-time materials fee ($30).

Students can start the program at any time of the year and usually we can start them within the same week of the free placement test appointment.

Policies

Kumon is not a quick fix but should be considered a long-term program. Whether our students are enrolled for enrichment or review, a student experiences the greatest results with long-term continuous study. Therefore, a minimum enrollment of twelve months is recommended.

Whether you are an athlete, musician, or a Kumon student, daily practice is essential for success. Homework is assigned on each student's "just right" level and should be completed daily.

Successful progress in Kumon requires parents' active supervision of daily work. Setting the right study environment, providing positive encouragement, and regularly observing the student will maximize parent's return on investment and faster, smoother progress.
