About Your Instructor

HEATHER (ANDREA) DAVIDSON

Before becoming a Kumon instructor, I worked as a technical and marketing writer in the information technology and oil and gas industries. I was also a presenter with Scientists in School and ran classroom-based science workshops for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6.

I grew up in Calgary and earned both of my degrees - a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Bachelor of Applied Communications in Technical Writing - here as well. My daughters are all Kumon Program alumni, and, through them, I have not only witnessed the confidence that Kumon inspires in children but also the benefits that building a strong foundation in math and reading from an early age can provide. I also understand what it means to be a Kumon parent.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
