About Your Instructor

Robert Valenti

After 24 years in the financial services industry, I began a new career as a Kumon Instructor. A Long Island native, I grew up in Lynbrook and graduated from South High School in Valley Stream. After graduating from Boston College with a degree in Management, I started my career at Goldman Sachs where I supported the Foreign Exchange trading and sales business.

After Goldman, I spent 17 years in the hedge fund industry at Citco Fund Services. I earned my MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, attending part-time while continuing my career at Citco. I bring a wealth of management, operations and client service experience to my Kumon Center in Carle Place. Currently, I live in Garden City with my wife and son (who is also my first Kumon student).
