About Your Instructor

Leo Alvarez

Leo Alvarez is the owner and Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Castle Rock - Plum Creek. Kumon is the world's largest and most successful after school program in math and reading for kids 3-18 years of age. After spending most of his professional years in Corporate America, Leo decided to leave and pursue a more meaningful and fulfilling path.

Married for 20 years, Leo has a teenage daughter, a dog and cats. His daughter is currently a Kumon student and enrolled in the International Baccalaureate at the local high school.

In his off hours, he enjoys playing recreational soccer, mountain biking and spending time with his family.
