About Your Instructor
Hester Hing
Hester has been part of Kumon for 20 years, working closely with students and families to build strong academic foundations and lifelong learning habits. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch students grow through the Kumon Program—from curious preschoolers to confident young adults—taking the skills and discipline they’ve developed with them to college and beyond. That journey of transformation inspires her every day.
With experience supporting children of all ages and learning styles, Hester is committed to creating a learning environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and motivated to do their best. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from UC Davis and an M.A. in Public Administration from Cal State Fullerton.
