About Your Instructor
Amanda Bryant
Welcome to our ePage!
We are so glad you navigated here! My name is Amanda Bryant and I am the instructor of Cedar Park - Central Kumon. Education and working with children/young adults has been a life-long passion for me. I knew from a very young age that my career and life work would be in a field where I would work with adolescents. There is something about the way that children view life and their honesty that inspires me each and every day.
In regards to my educational background, I have a bachelors degree in elementary education with an emphasis in special education from TCU. I also have a masters degree in elementary education with a concentration in child life. I have worked as a school teacher and have had Kumon as a part of most of my life.
I was a Kumon student when I was younger and my mom, Jennifer Davis, started a Kumon Franchisee when I was in middle school. I grew up working every possible role in a Kumon center. I have been the front desk receptionist, an early learner teacher, a grader, and a cleaner.
As a professional in the education field, I was given the opportunity to come and help run the Kumon center in 2011. This means that today I have had 13 years of experience running and helping students to grow at this Cedar Park Kumon center.
I am now honored to be the instructor of Cedar Park - Central Kumon and to have two of my own kids as Kumon Connect students. Kumon feels like it is in my blood, and I am honored every day with the opportunity to help students realize and reach their potential.
It is the best feeling when a student feels satisfaction in their own hard work and can see and feel their growth. It brings me to tears to see students who start with us as 4 year old babies and leave us as program completers in 6th grade.
It makes me smile to help parents support their child’s education and to help give them something for their future. Kumon has allowed me the opportunity to help foster and support the community around me and I am excited to continue to do so for many years to come.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me today. I am looking forward to meeting your family soon and helping your family, and your child, feel the joy in hard work and the passion in learning!
