About Your Instructor

Smita Chandrasekhar

As an extensively trained Kumon instructor, I own the Kumon of Clark center since its incorporation in 2023. I have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, specializing in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications. I have worked as a solution engineer in banking solutions for global financial institutions for about 19 years and have travelled extensively across the world to implement banking solutions.

I have been a Kumon parent for more than 6 years, and I have seen the benefits of the Kumon method firsthand. Apart from developing confidence in academics, Kumon has helped my kids develop self-learning skills and good studying habits. I became involved in their Kumon journey more during the pandemic and now I am excited to contribute to spreading of the Kumon method.

I enjoy working with children and my goal is to work with my students to help them develop a strong academic foundation and reach their potential.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
