Ever since I chose teaching as my career (my bachelor’s is in education and my master’s is in Physics), I have been passionate about three things: maximizing individual student’s potential, inspiring student’s interest in learning and instilling a sense of self-confidence among all children.
I personally experienced how Kumon helped my children achieve their potential in both math and reading, and become more successful students. This inspired me to become a Kumon Instructor and help other children in the community.
I strongly believe that developing strong study habits is one of the keys to achieving academic success. Students develop self confidence when they are challenged, which increases their motivation. Developing strong study habits helps students in other aspects of life, too, such as taking responsibility for the learning process, setting practical goals, being aware of their performance and progress, using their time wisely, and understanding and retaining content better.
To compete in today’s world, each child has to realize their full potential and equip themselves with tools needed to succeed in life. This is where quality education plays a major role.
As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments,and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame.
