About Your Instructor

David Wei

I came from Taiwan in 1979 and attended UC Santa Barbara, where I obtained an MS/ECE degree in 1981. After graduation I came to Silicon Valley and have lived in the Cupertino neighborhood since then. All my kids grow up here and I love this community.

Since I earned my MS degree, I have worked in the computer and communication field in the Bay Area. When my kids grew up, I explored the Real Estate field and English language interpretation field. I am also involved in a non-profit organization assisting the children and families in need.

Teaching and helping children in their learning has always been my passion. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to own a Kumon Math and Reading Center, and I appreciate the opportunity to be able to work with your children to help them reach their greatest potential. I greatly appreciate you trusting your children in my center and my teachers here. Your trust will not go in vain, and I will do all my best to help them reach their greatest potential.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
