Welcome to Kumon Math and Reading of El Dorado Hills - Town Center.
Mr. Don Nguyen is the chief instructor and, along with his experienced instructional staff, are passionate about developing students to their maximum potential!

For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped millions of children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.

Our Center Mission: Through individualized instruction and daily step-by-step curriculum based on the proven Kumon Method, we strive to empower students to reach their full potential and build a strong foundation for life-long success so that they can positively impact their community and the world.

Price and Fees

Our monthly tuition rates are provided to parents during orientation, and we are significantly less expensive than private tutors and other types of tutoring programs in the area. Our mission at Kumon is to bring the Kumon Method of Learning to as many students as possible, and therefore, we keep our pricing reasonable.

There is no charge for placement testing, and we do not ask parents to pay a fee to learn the results of the tests. There is a one-time registration fee and materials fee, which are discussed at the orientation. We can generally start students in the program within the same week as the placement tests.
