Nikita Ganatra, M.Ed.
Owner & Center Director, Kumon Math and Reading Center of Foothill Ranch
Nikita Ganatra is an educator, entrepreneur, and community leader who has owned and directed Kumon Math and Reading Center of Foothill Ranch since 2013. Her center uses an individualized approach that meets each student at a “just right” level, with instruction differentiated through lesson planning to fit each student’s needs. The goal is to build confidence and mastery of foundational skills in a nurturing environment.
Nikita holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, Multiple and Single Subject Teaching Credentials, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Earlier in her career, she taught 7th and 8th grade, including GATE students, at Dexter Middle School, where she was recognized as a Model Classroom Teacher. She later worked with at-risk youth and English learners in alternative K–12 settings.
Beyond her center, Nikita serves as Fund Development Chair for the Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children (OCAEYC) and is the founder of the Saharo Foundation - a nonprofit with a mission to empower people to build healthier lives, expand opportunity through education and strengthen communities. She is also an active member of Soroptimist International of Saddleback Valley, which works toward economic empowerment for women and girls.
She was named a 2023 Woman of Distinction by the City of Lake Forest and County of Orange, and a 2025 Woman of Distinction by Senator Steven Choi.
Nikita believes every child deserves the chance to build confidence through mastery, one step at a time.
