About Your Instructor
JOSE PUNNOOSE
Hi, my name is Jose Punnoose. I have been the certified instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Frisco – Starwood since July 2012. I began my own Kumon journey after witnessing my children build skills and gain confidence through the Kumon programs.
I am here to serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while providing direction, support, and encouragement. I create an in-center and at-home study plan that is specific for each child. We work to develop accuracy in completing the assignments within a designated time frame to help increase self-confidence, self-reliance, and motivation. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.
I have always felt welcomed in the Frisco community. I reside in the area with my wife and three children. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas, I spent almost 20 years in the accounting field before I found my true calling to be a Kumon Instructor. Aside from the joy of working with students, I am an avid golfer, enjoy outdoor activities, and love spending time with my family.
