About Your Instructor
Richelle Caubang
Mrs. Richelle has been guiding students through the Kumon Math & Reading program since 2018, bringing with her a rich and diverse academic background. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a major in Microbiology from the University of the Philippines — a foundation that gave her a deep appreciation for precision, discipline, and the power of methodical learning.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Mrs. Richelle has continued to grow beyond her science roots. She earned an Interactive Media Certificate in Graphic & Web Design and Motion & Animation from San Diego Continuing Education North City Campus in 2014, and a Small Business Management Certificate from Arizona State University in 2022 — skills that help her run a welcoming, well-organized center for every family she serves.
What makes Mrs. Richelle especially connected to her students and their families is her personal experience as a former Kumon parent. She knows firsthand the academic challenges families face and the dedication it takes to see real progress. That empathy, combined with her genuine passion for teaching, fuels everything she brings to the center each day.
Her philosophy is simple: every child has untapped potential, and her job is to help them find it. She leads with patience, enthusiasm, and the confidence of someone who has lived the Kumon journey herself — ready to give your child 100% of her passion to learn, her drive to excel, and her joy in saying, "I did it — and I am very good at it!"
We warmly invite you to contact our center to learn more about our curriculum and how Mrs. Richelle and the Kumon Math & Reading program can help your child reach their fullest potential.
