About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to Kumon of Gilbert-Lindsay & Warner

For more than 60 years, Kumon's after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive and instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love for learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child's progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

Our Center's Vision, Mission, and Core Values

Here at Kumon of Gilbert-Lindsay & Warner, we aim to develop the maximum potential of our students by empowering their passion for learning so they can become excellent and efficient individuals contributing to the success of their family and community here in Gilbert, AZ and beyond.

We foster excellence in our students by encouraging them to do their best in everything they do, whether in school or at home and by doing accurate work in the shortest amount of time. These goals will not be achievable without YOUR partnership and YOUR support.

We aim to help 100 students every year to achieve their academic goals through the Kumon Math & Reading program.

OUR TEAM'S CORE VALUES:
Accuracy, Confidence, Excellence, Efficiency, Encouragement

The Kumon Program

Kumon is a long-term supplemental program and is not a quick-fix to remedy your child's current academic needs. Unlike traditional tutoring, Kumon is designed to fill in gaps from previous years while advancing your student to a higher level. Many of our long-term students have greatly benefited from the program and chose to stay on for years. We encourage you and your child to make a commitment to the program for a minimum of 12-18 months in order to achieve the desired results.

The
Kumon Math Program  is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

The  Kumon Reading Program  begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.
