About Your Instructor
Nisha Narasimhan
My name is Nisha Narasimhan. I was a Kumon Mom before I became a Kumon Instructor. My child’s Kumon Journey made me see the value of Kumon method and how the method can be altered to suit each child in their learning. I strongly believe that learning is personal, and success is quantified by the smile on child’s face. We, at Kumon of Granite Bay, strive to instill the desire to achieve more and motivate students to become self-learners. We aim to empower them for their own success and aid them to pave their path to success.
My first job, after my undergrad, was a "Teacher", teaching computer science to school age children. I progressed in career as a Program Manager in the tech industry. After decades, I left the industry to pursue my passion - Education (Educator). My son's experience of learning and the gaps in the curriculum made him a Kumon student. Kumon changed his path and now he is an Advanced Math Honor student. I wanted similar experience for all students, and I desired to be part of such experience for students in our community, so I chose to become a Kumon Instructor. I believe change happens when we attempt to make it happen. My happiness is my students' success!!! Their success is my achievement!!!
My motto--
To achieve goals and milestones it takes one baby step at a time....take that leap, and don’t worry about making mistakes. Mistakes make you stronger and better learner.
