About Your Instructor
Evelyn Sodipo
Hello! I’m Evelyn Sodipo, the Instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Grimsby.
As a parent, I know how rewarding it is to watch a child learn something new, gain confidence, and realize, “I can do this!” That is one of the things that drew me to Kumon.
Before becoming a Kumon Instructor, I built my career in financial services, with experience in Risk Management. My professional journey has given me a strong appreciation for analytical thinking, problem-solving, perseverance, and the importance of having a solid foundation in learning.
I also believe that learning should never stop, no matter our age. I recently continued my own learning journey at York University, completing courses in Risk Management and Big Data Analytics. I want my students to understand that learning is not simply about getting through school. It is about developing the confidence and curiosity to keep growing throughout life.
At Kumon of Grimsby, my goal is to get to know each student as an individual, celebrate their progress, and encourage them when something feels challenging. Our Centre is a welcoming place where children feel comfortable making mistakes, trying again, and experiencing the pride that comes from accomplishing something on their own.
