About Your Instructor

I am pleased to introduce myself as the instructor of the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Hayward-Fairway Park starting June 1st of 2026. I have been a Kumon instructor since 1990, previously operating two successful centers in Danville (Blackhawk) and San Ramon (Alcosta) for 32 years.

I am dedicated to working closely with every student to ensure their lesson plan is perfectly tailored to their unique learning pace. I believe the greatest benefit of the Kumon program is its ability to provide an accurate, individualized plan that maximizes a student's potential through consistent daily practice. This approach helps students build confidence as they reach each study milestone, while instilling essential study habits such as concentration, an improved attention span, and self-learning skills.

Our team of tutors is carefully selected to provide the best support and instruction, and I am committed to keeping parents well-informed regarding their child’s progress. I look forward to working with your family to help your child succeed.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
