About Your Instructor
Anuja Sanjeevkumar
Anu, Center Director, brings a deep personal understanding of the Kumon Method and its impact on children’s growth. Her journey with Kumon began in 2008, when she enrolled her daughter in the program. As a parent, Anu witnessed firsthand how Kumon helped her daughter develop strong self-confidence, independent learning skills, and a love for learning—benefits that extended far beyond academics.
Inspired by this experience and driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to excel, Anu is passionate about building strong foundations through mastery of the basics. This passion ultimately led her to become the Center Director of Kumon of Hoffman Estates, where she is dedicated to helping students reach their fullest potential.
Beyond Kumon, Anu and her husband, Sanjeev, share a long-standing commitment to education. For over 10 years, they have coached children in robotics, fostering problem-solving skills, teamwork, and innovation. Anu is also deeply committed to giving back to the community, continuously seeking opportunities to make a positive impact beyond the classroom.
Above all, Anu genuinely cares for children and is devoted to nurturing self-confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning—empowering the next generation of leaders to succeed.
