Kumon Connect US

Open your kids up to more this school year! 


Adding Kumon to your kids' daily schedule can turn a school year into a standout school year. Watch your student develop life skills like perseverance, work skills, work ethic and motivation to overcome any challenge. Kumon does more than just build strong math, reading and writing skills. You will see your kids develop more confidence, stronger study habits and work skills.  Parents living in Birmingham and surrounding areas often use Kumon of Hoover to IMPROVE MATH & READING GRADES and develop strong work skills and confidence.

Our instructor, Mr. Brian Johnsen and our staff enjoy instructing students one-on-one using the Kumon methods! We clean our tables and use masks as needed for our early learning students and anyone who coughs to ensure the safety and health of everyone. 

We offer both In-Center and Virtual Classes as well as a Digital Option. You can also attend our convenient virtual classes. During virtual classes, students complete their assignments at home while under the observation of Center staff through Zoom. Similar to our physical classroom, the purpose of our virtual classes is to observe the students while working, give guidance and provide motivation for successful progress. 

Do you want your kids to have a strong foundation in Math and Reading and have a confident school year? Please come in for a FREE Parent Orientation with student placement tests and learn about what Kumon can do for them! We will explain what Kumon is, how it differs from school and explain the Kumon starting level.  After your student takes the placement test(s) we share observations and give suggestions in specific areas needing improvement.
