About Your Instructor

Yelonda Harvey

I’m a mother, a wife, an educator, and a veteran. I have been in the military for over six years and in the education field since 2012. I have a Post-Bachelors and Master's in Education, and have been extensively trained and certified to become a Kumon Instructor. In addition, I am a highly qualified teacher with the teaching certificates from both Alabama and Washington, DC, public schools. I have been a mentor and a tutor for several years, and I look forward to continuing to share my passion and to teach children.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
