Center Updates

National Kindergarten Day is on April 21st and the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Young Ranch  wants to help your student celebrate! Did you know that we have a program specifically for early learners?

The first Kindergarten (which means garden for the children) was developed in Blankenburg, Germany (1837) and was created to allow students to transition from home to school more easily. There are several ways that we can observe this day!

1.    If your student is younger than Kindergarten, have them come up with a goal for that future year.

2.    If your student is currently in Kindergarten, help your student write a thank you card for their teacher.

3.    If your student has already completed Kindergarten, ask them about their favorite memory!

Ages 3 plus Come see how Kumon can benefit your kids

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

  • Master math and reading, often helping them earn their best grades ever
  • Build study skills such as confidence, focus and work ethic
  • Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your kids will complete a placement test that will give you:

  • Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
  • A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
